About the event
Logline
A woman must confront her unspoken anger towards her mother in order to prepare for the birth of her own child.
Director’s Statement
As children, we idolize our parents; if they do something wrong, we judge them. YELLOW is an emotional journey that leads a mother-to-be to the forgiveness of her mother. As women, we need to see our mothers as human, separate from their roles as mothers, and give them grace for choices made in the past that we might not have agreed with. This is where the real healing begins.
