Anthony "Pops" Mitchell
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, with ties to Chicago and New York, Anthony is affectionately known to those who love him as “Pops” or “Papa Tony.”

As a producer, songwriter, organist, arranger, lead, and backup singer, music is his ministry. He has been blessed to work with Dionne Warwick, The O’Jay’s, Stevie Wonder, The Isley Brothers and many other well-known artists.
Pops lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with his wife, Bea and attends Mount Ararat Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. William H. Curtis. At Mount Ararat Pops is the director and spiritual leader for the Male Chorus. He released an album in 2012 entitled, “Lord, Because of My Faith in You.”
