Whispers of Strength: An Adult Coloring Book

A breast cancer survivor must listen to the whispers of strength in order to get through her healing journey. In this coloring book, a breast cancer survivor shares affirmations and reflections to help you navigate the ups and downs of your diagnosis.
 
In 2016, I was diagnosed with Stage II breast cancer. When I got the diagnosis, I didn't feel surprised, but I knew that everything was going to be okay. I told my doctors that I was going to fight in my own way.
 
I rallied my family together and took the steps that would help me on my journey. First, I changed my diet and started eating more foods that were beneficial to me and my health. Second, I worked on my mindset by praying more, meditating, and listening to The Most High. Third, I started walking every day, even when I didn't want to. Lastly, made myself a priority and got more rest.
 
One of the most important things that I did was to surround myself with a village of people who were genuinely positive and loving. Those people are still on my journey with me today.
 
As you walk on your journey of healing, listen to the whispers of strength all around you. Take care of yourself. Hang in there, sis, you are making it! This is your journey, do what feels right for you! Allow yourself to be colorful on your healing journey. Color represents life, living, and the possibilities of what can be if you stay positive.
