Remember Your Strength

Updated: Jul 29

Hello Scribes,

Happy Women's History Month!

Take a moment to write a letter to a woman who has influenced you.

You never know how it will impact her to read your words.

In case you didn't hear the news, I announced my new book, Remember Your Strength. While working on so many of your projects, I was writing too, Don't laugh, but I have experienced so many emotions around this launch, reminding me of some of our conversations during your process.

It is my hope that my memoir will not only teach you more about me, but inspire you to curate your own stories of resilience as you stand in your power, activate your resilience, and remember your strength,

I am turning 50 on March 12, 2024, and I am excited for this new season. If you order the book before March 12, use the code STRENGTH for a discount.

Learn more about the book here:

Check out my interview with Chelsia McCoy on her podcast, "Women Winning at Writing."

I hope you will join me on this journey of strength. Don't forget to sign up for the mailing list on PendaLJames.com.

And, if you need to talk through some cool ideas, book a free brain dump:

Today, I don't feel my "normal" strength. There's a heaviness that I can't pinpoint. I'm missing my mother, navigating through post-concussion syndrome, and also a knee injury and recent knee surgery. I smile, encourage others, and still pray, but many times, it feels forced.

This confession is a reflection of your truth. Thank you for being present in the moment, recognizing that you are not where you were and not where you want to be. Hopefully, you will be open to getting back to the strength you knew, even if it is different.
